Egadi Wrecks

Progetto Atlantide organizes the day of the wrecks. It deals with scuba dives in which we visit modern wrecks situated to the island of "Formica" inside of the integral reserve zone and in front of the port of Trapani.

Typology: merchant wreckage, summit –15 meters, divided in two trunks

Fauna: white sea breams, groupers, conger eel, anthias

Fauna sessile: eel grass

Recommended for: all the levels

Difficulty: rough sea and visibility middle 15 meters

Maximum depth: -35 meters

Profile of immersion: multilevel

Zone reserves: NO

Wreck of Formica island - Elphis
(scuba and apnea)

 

Typology: merchant wreck, summit –6 meters, whole, leaned on the keel

Fauna: white sea breams, groupers, conger eel, anthias, crabs, sea slugs

Fauna sessile: eel grass, fan mussels

Recommended for: all the levels

Difficulty: anybody

Maximum depth: -15

Profile of immersion: it squares

Zone reserves: zone B

Airplain wreck II war

Typology: two-engined aerial wreckage of the second world wars

Fauna: sea slugs, white sea breams, glances

Fauna sessile: eel grass

Recommended for: least second levels with experience

Difficulty: come down in the blue one and without fixed references

Maximum depth: -28 ms

Profile of immersion: it squares

Zone reserves: zone C

Wreck PALUMBO - Carmelo Porto

Typology: transport of salgemma; the stern stays up to the vain motor, it leans on the side

Fauna: white sea breams, groupers, conger eel, anthias, crabs, sea slugs, octopuses, etc.

Fauna sessile: spirographs, shell fin nobilis, eel grass

Recommended for: all the levels

Difficulty: anybody

Maximum depth: - 18 meters

Profile of immersion: multilevel

Zone reserves: zone C
